Artwork Expiration and Renewal Policy

There is nothing more disappointing for a buyer than discovering that the artwork they found and fell in love with is not available for sale.

To provide the best experience for our buyers and ensure accurate art availability, we kindly request all artists to renew their artworks every 365 days from publishing them for sale.

 
What artwork types have an expiration period?

All originals published for sale have an expiration period of 365 days. 

 

What happens to the artwork after it expires?

The artwork remains to be published and visible in your portfolio, however it’s status will be “Not for Sale.” 

 

What to do if the artwork has expired?

If the artwork expired but in fact it is still available for purchase, please email support@jvstudioart.com and request to make it available for sale again.

 

How is 'Artwork Expiration' different from 'Artist Check-in' policy?

'Artist Check-in' process ensures that artists are active on JV Studio Art and maintaining their accounts. 'Artwork Expiration and Renewal' process ensures that active artists have accurate artwork availability information. Learn more about 'Artist Check-in' policy here.
