Promoting Your Profile
Last Updated: December 27, 2024
In addition to completing your profile according to our best practices, we recommend promoting your JV Studio Art profile in the following ways:
Tip #1 - Social Media
Social media is a great tool to increase awareness of you and your work, build an engaged community, connect with existing customers, and attract new customers. See Social Media Marketing section for more information.
We strongly encourage you to add your Facebook, X, Pinterest, TikTok, and/or Instagram handles to Notes on your Artist Profile. This allows our Marketing Team a chance to get to know you in more detail. Additionally, our Marketing Team promotes our artists and their work to our followers and we love to feature artists that are also engaged on social media. Our Marketing team will tag and mention you on the social media sites that you provide in Notes on your Artist Profile.
Tip #2 - Personal Website
Include a link to your JV Studio Art Profile or Portfolio on your website to easily show artworks. Each website host allows you to specially format external links; consider adding your JV Studio Art Portfolio link to your sidebar along with your social media buttons, in a shopping page, or a link out in the main navigation.
Tip #3 - Email Marketing Newsletters
JV Studio Art Button
There are a couple of options to link to your JV Studio Art Profile in newsletters: add a button or link out in the main navigation in your header.
Creating a website button that lives with your social media links functions as a reminder for newsletter recipients to follow along with your JV Studio Art Profile. These buttons are usually located in the header or footer of a newsletter.
Similarly, having your JV Studio Art profile in the main navigation of your newsletter allows easy access to shopping any new works you are highlighting in the email.
Link Products
Product linking doesn’t require complex coding. Add photos of your artwork for sale to the body of your newsletter and add a link to the JV Studio Art product page associated with that artwork. Add a compelling call-to-action (eg. Shop Now) that let’s recipients know your images are clickable and shoppable.
Each email marketing platform will look different; if you are unsure how to add links to your photos check the FAQ section of the service you use to learn the best way to do it.
