This piece was inspired by an intimate experience I had in my quiet time with Jesus. This image portraits what I saw and felt. As I rested on his shoulder and laid my disappointments, fears, hopes on Him, He reassured me by His sweet presence. His wings covered me, and He showed me that I do not need to carry such burdens, I just need to lay them down and trust Him. I painted this piece while listening to the song Fortify my Faith by Mercy Culture Worship.
