Leaning on Jesus

Since the Father called me to step out in faith and open my own business with the purpose of outreach, He has taught me to declare the words of Isaiah 61. 

"The mighty Spirit of the Lord YAHWEH is wrapped around be because YAHWEH has annointed me, as a messenger to preach good news to the poor. He sent me to heal the wounds of the brokenhearted, to tel captives, "You are free", and to tell prisoners, "Be free from your darkness."

After reading John 21 one early morning during my time with Him,  I asked Him to burn with love for Him. One of the visions He showed me that day is depicted in this painting. He had showed me as if I was standing right in front of Him, praising with hands lifted up.

To be very transparent, I was struggling the week I painted, and although I remembered the vision, I painted from memory and did not look at my notes. I usually write down what He shows me or speaks to me. I was not doubting his calling, but the process has been a struggle and I was fighting discouragement that week. 

As I painted and praised, I remembered the Surrounded by Your Glory painting, some of the colors and techiniques I used then He reminded me. As I finished, His gaze is not on me, but it feels as if He is staring straight into my enemy and saying with His eyes: "Back off, she is my child." 

After I finished this painting, and I did struggled to paint it. He said: "Was this all I showed you?" I went to look at my notes and the paiting YAHWEH has Anointed Me is the full representation of the vision. 

I pray that this painting is an encouragement to you and that as you Lean on Him, He is stairing down your enemy and saying:"Back off, this is my child."
